Twenty years ago, I wasn’t trying to build a dog business.
I just wanted dogs who could come with me.
Dogs who could hike the mountain and chill at home.
Road trip across the country and settle in a hotel.
Run on the beach and come when called.
Camp in the woods and lie by the fire.
Play when it’s time to play.
Sleep when absolutely nothing is happening.
Live with freedom without making me manage every second of it.
NOW OTHER DOGS GET TO LIVE IT TOO.
They come for daycare.
They stay for boarding.
I meet them at home for drop-ins.
We head out for walks.
Some come with something specific we’re developing.
Different dogs. Different needs. Different starting points.
But while we’re together, they become part of my life.
And life gives us plenty to work with.
SO, WHAT’S A STEEZY DOG?
After retiring from tech, I kept working from home doing flexible consulting.
And I realized I had something else I could share.
Mabel already had a home, a routine and a lifestyle built around more than 20 years of living with and training my own dogs.
So I opened her home to a limited number of other dogs.
COME LIVE THE STEEZY LIFE.
When your dog stays with me, they step into the same home lifestyle my own dogs were trained to live in.
The same environment.
The same household routines.
The same communication cues.
The same expectations around freedom, boundaries, settling, walking, waiting, playing and doing absolutely nothing.
And the experience I’ve built from doing it with my own dogs for more than 20 years.
Daycare means they join our day.
Boarding means they join our day and night.
Development means we’re intentionally working toward something more.
Walks and drop-ins bring my handling into their routine at home.
Different services.
Same Felix.
Same Steezy life.
WHERE DO YOU WISH YOUR DOG COULD COME WITH YOU?
