For more than 20 years, that’s how I’ve thought about training my own dogs.
Not training for the sake of knowing commands. Training so they could actually be part of my life.
Workdays. Road trips. Hotels. Beaches. Mountains. Camping. Friends’ houses. Moving across cities. And plenty of days when absolutely nothing exciting was happening.
The commands were just the vocabulary.
The life we could live together was the point.
THAT’S A STEEZY DOG.
